These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings and travel arrangements made with Dastel Tours & Safaris. By confirming a booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
1. Booking & Confirmation
All safari bookings must be confirmed in writing and are subject to availability. A booking is considered confirmed once we receive the required deposit and issue a written confirmation.
2. Payments
A deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. The remaining balance must be paid before the start of your safari, as specified in your invoice. Failure to complete payment on time may result in cancellation of services.
3. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellations must be submitted in writing. Cancellation charges may apply depending on how close to the departure date the cancellation is made. Some services such as park fees, flights, or accommodation deposits may be non-refundable. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within a reasonable time.
4. Changes to Itineraries
We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to itineraries due to weather conditions, wildlife movements, safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond our control. Any changes will aim to maintain the overall quality and value of your safari.
5. Travel Insurance
All clients are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, trip cancellation, loss of belongings, and emergency evacuation. Dastel Tours & Safaris is not responsible for costs arising from lack of insurance.
6. Health & Safety
Guests are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to travel. It is your responsibility to obtain required vaccinations and travel documents. We prioritize safety but cannot be held liable for injuries, illness, or accidents during the trip.
7. Liability
Dastel Tours & Safaris acts as an agent for hotels, lodges, airlines, transport providers, and other suppliers. We are not liable for any loss, damage, delay, injury, or expense caused by third-party providers or events beyond our control.
8. Responsibility of Clients
Clients must follow the instructions of guides and staff at all times. Any behavior that endangers others or disrupts the trip may result in termination of services without refund.
9. Photography & Marketing
We may use photographs or videos taken during tours for marketing purposes unless the client requests otherwise in writing.
10. Complaints
Any complaints should be communicated as soon as possible during the safari so we can attempt to resolve the matter. Written complaints must be submitted within a reasonable time after completion of the trip.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Tanzania.
