7-Day Climb Kilimanjaro via Machame Route

Meet the authorised mountain team and enter Kilimanjaro National Park through the designated gate process. The day introduces the lower forest environment and the team establishes the first overnight base at an approved mountain campsite. Activities and pace are managed by professional guides.

The journey continues through changing vegetation toward the Shira Plateau, subject to trail and weather conditions. The guide organises the travel day and supports guests with regular welfare checks and the necessary park procedures.

Spend the day experiencing dramatic high-altitude scenery under the direction of the guiding team. Scheduled rest and acclimatisation consideration take priority over fixed tourism timetables. Arrive at the designated camping area for dinner and rest.

Continue the supervised expedition across the mountain landscape. The professional team makes decisions about terrain, conditions and the guests' wellbeing. Reach the next approved campsite and spend the rest of the day preparing for the following stage.

Follow the route programme to the mountain's higher designated base camp, with all movement determined by the licensed guides and prevailing weather. The evening is reserved for rest, warm meals and safety briefings appropriate to the conditions.

Subject to guide assessment, conditions and participant wellbeing, the planned summit phase may take place before returning to a lower designated campsite. The expedition team oversees the entire day. Summit attainment is never guaranteed and safety decisions take precedence.

Complete the guided descent and exit formalities at the assigned gate, then return by arranged transfer to Moshi or Arusha. An additional hotel night may be included only if specified in the final contract.
